Welcome to the Postville Welsh Church and Cemetery
The Postville Welsh Church and Cemetery was originally known as the First Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Church and Cemetery.  The church and cemetery are located in the central and eastern part of the state  in rural Platte County, Nebraska, near Monroe.
The church is no longer has a practicing congregation, but both the church building and cemetery are maintained through a non-profit group call the Postville Welsh Church and Cemetery Association, Inc.  Over the years the Association has continued to research and record the history of the church and cemetery but also the history of the land and the people who settled it.
Please take a look through our site and learn more about the church and cemetery and their history.  And please feel free to contact us with your feedback or any information you may have about the history of the Postville Church and Cemetery.
Sincerely,
Robert O. Parry
President
Postville Welsh Church and Cemetery Association, Inc.

Cemetery Entrance Update!
Construction is well underway for the new cemetery entrance.  Thank you again to all who donated to make this new entrance a reality.  So far the columns are up and the driveway has been poured. We are now waiting on the Nebraska winter to be over to complete the project.
We are projecting that the gate will be ready for use near the end of May 2011.  Until the new entrance is ready, please access the church property via the gate on the north side of the property.
